FAQ's

 

Can I bring a dog?
Yes - they may be exercised off the lead provided they are under control but must be kept out of the water and are not allowed in picnic areas below the visitor centre, the playground or the club areas

Are tracks open for riding bikes / horses?
Yes - the Round Reservoir Route opened to horses and cyclists mid-April.  Visitors should note that the track can become muddy in places.  Suitable footwear should be worn and cyclists should note that the track is only suitable for mountain bikes

Can I use a barbecue?
No - regrettably fire risk and disturbance of other visitors means barbecues are not allowed.

Can I bring my own boat?
Only club members may use their own boats at Bewl see Activities section for further details or contact Bewl Valley Sialing Club for sailing membership information www.bewlvalleysc.co.uk

Can I swim in the lake?
No - the water is deep and can be very cold and swimming is not allowed.
